I have a tendency to talk fast. I asked a colleague if she had any scissors. “Yes, I have two.” Great, can I borrow one. “Don’t you think that’s a bit inappropriate?” Oh, I am sorry, I didn’t think asking to borrow scissors was that big of a deal. “Scissors, oh my goodness. I am so sorry, Tony. I thought you said sisters.”
